I thought you might be interested in this obituary. I remember Don very well. He was not only a fine person he was a great football player for MHHS. He was very fast.

Don Feazell

BELAIR, Md. - Don Feazell, 74, formerly of Mount Hope, died Nov. 2, 2001, in Maryland.

His remains were cremated.

Mr. Feazell's friends are invited to share with his family in a celebration of life ceremony at 1 p.m. Saturday at St. Andrew's Episcopal Church, Oak Hill.

Mr. Feazell is survived by his wife, Rosemary Pinson Feazell; six children; 11 grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren. He is also survived by his mother-in-law, Katie Pinson of Oak Hill.

Visitation and dinner for friends and relatives will follow the ceremony at Saint Andrews.

Thanks Fred for the info on Don Feazell. He and I were on a couple of MHHS football teams. See MHHS Web Site. Picture of 1944 and 1947 football teams. I always tried to outrun Don during our practice laps after football practice each day. He was just to fast. He was not a big guy but no one could get their hands on him. Make a whole in the line for him and he was gone.

Saw him at a reunion in 1997. He still looked like he could outrun anyone. I believe a memorial should be put on the MHHS web site for Don.
